Alter - Shortened from Alter Reflection. It has become more common to refer to Alter Reflections as simply "Alters". The meaning remains the same.

Alter Reflection - A human who is bound with a celestial guardian. They
are granted an ability similar to their guardians and has therefore gained the name Alter Reflection. The word Alter is based on Latin and literally means "The other" or "The second".

Alter Ability - The power that an Alter has been graced with. Just like a mirror reflects light, the Alters are able to reflect the type of power their guardians possess to use it as their own.

Celesti - A celestial being from Garden. They are often referred to as just "Celes".

Elarium - An Oracle who resides in the Tower of Elarium. She is said to possess great wisdom as well as outstanding abilities in foresight. She is the one who foretold the Prophesy of Multus Calamitas.

Garden - The celestial plane where Celestis reside.

Gate of Chastity - The great gate which leads to the sacred grounds of Garden. Those not pure of soul may never set foot beyond these gates.

Guardian - A celestial being who has chosen to bind with a human. They
are responsible for guarding their chosen pair and to aid them in their life. Only Celestis ranked as Sanctas or above may take on the task of becoming a Guardian.

Mark of Grace - A mark which separates humans from celestial beings.
The Mark of Grace is the sign of divinity which all Celestis carry. All marks are unique for every celestial being and may appear on different places of the body.
